NFL legend Tom Brady has taken on a new role as a minority owner of English soccer club Birmingham City.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion, who retired from American football earlier this year, has now set his sights on the world of soccer.
The news was confirmed by Birmingham City on their official account, where they revealed that Brady had entered into a partnership with Knighthead Capital Management, becoming a minority owner of Birmingham City Ltd.
Brady’s involvement doesn’t stop there; he is set to become the Chairman of the new Advisory Board, indicating his significant influence and hands-on role within the club.

As Chairman of the Advisory Board, Brady’s expertise will be put to use in various aspects of the club, including working closely with the sports science department to provide advice on health, nutrition, wellness, and recovery systems and programs for the players.
Additionally, Brady will actively participate in global marketing efforts and help identify new commercial partnership opportunities for Birmingham City.
Upon hearing the news of his appointment, the 46-year-old football icon expressed his excitement and honor at joining the ranks of Birmingham City.
“Birmingham City is an iconic club with so much history and passion, and to be part of the Blues is a real honor for me,” Brady stated.
