Manchester City Team Total Over 3 (-130) – Wednesday 7/15, 1 p.m. EST

Bournemouth, after looking dead to rights at the beginning of the restart, have put together two back-to-back solid performances as they were able to take a point off Tottenham before beating Leicester City 4-1. Pretty insane turn of form… that, unfortunately, will come to an end against Manchester City.

The line here is 2.5, meaning City need to win by 3 to cover, which tells me the books think this game is going to feature some goals. So, instead of risking the spread and having to worry about Bournemouth scoring, just take the Team Total Over which should, at worst, be a push.

Wolves Moneyline vs Burnley (-115) – Wednesday 7/15, 1 p.m. EST

Not going to lie to you guys – I don’t feel spectacular. Burnley are a real pain in the ass regardless of who they play. Just last week, they ended Liverpool’s titanic 24-game winning streak at home by holding the Premier League champions to a 1-1 draw. Still, the fact remains the Burnley are bereft on both talent and depth, which is bound to catch up with them eventually.

If — which is a big if considering their post-return form has been hit-and-miss — Wolves show up and play to the best of their abilities, they should beat Burnley. But the thing with Burnley is, if you don’t show up ready to play, they’ll take a point or three off you. Tread lightly here.

Liverpool Moneyline vs Arsenal (-125) – Wednesday 7/15, 3:15 p.m. EST

Liverpool have certainly been a tricky team to handicap since the restart. On one hand, they’re the reigning European, World, and English Champions, and are certainly one of the top five or so teams on the planet. On the other hand, they’ve been playing at 110 mph for about two straight years now, and having arrived at the mountaintop, have since wobbled a bit (drawing Everton, losing to City, drawing Burnley). Still, if there’s anything more consistent than Liverpool’s recent consistency, its Arsenals inconsistency, particularly at the defensive end.

This game is at the Emirates, and if fans were allowed to attend, I’d give Arsenal a real puncher’s chance. But in a behind-closed-doors match that requires the utmost focus and discipline, I just don’t see the Gunners — refresh off of a heartbreaking loss to Tottenham — outfoxing Jurgen Klopp’s Red. It could be tight, but I see Liverpool returning to their Liverpudlian ways.

Sheffield +.5 vs Leicester City (-120) – Thursday, 7/16, 1:00 p.m. EST

Leicester has been in awful form recently — particularly that utter meltdown against a dead-to-rights Bournemouth — and is now at serious risk of dropping out of Champions League qualification.

Sheffield, on the other hand, are on an absolute tear. In their last four games, they’ve beaten Tottenham, Wolves, and Chelsea, while also drawing Burnley. Take Sheffield against the spread – they should be good for at least a draw here.
