Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, famously yet somewhat controversially one of the best managers in the history of soccer, has become known for his intense personality over the years. That intensity was on full display over the weekend after a video of him undressing autograph hawks went viral.
In the video, a clearly frustrated Pep Guardiola — seemingly from the fact that he’s encountered this group of autograph hunters before — ripped into the group for their pursuits, asking them if this is really how they want to spend their lives.
One man, in particular, got quite an undressing from Guardiola, who not only called him ‘old’ but basically told him he should’ve been better at his previous career.
“Don’t come again, I won’t sign again, I know your faces,” Guardiola begins.
“Go to the school, prepare yourself guys — you’re young, you are old, you are young, guys — don’t be hear, waste your time. You want to live your life doing this? Honestly? You want to live the rest of your life doing this?”
When the fella that Guardiola called ‘old’ chimed in that he ‘used to be a chef,’ the six-time Premier League champion continued his onslaught, telling the former cook to ‘prepare better.;
“Continue to do it. Prepare better. Prepare better! F—— hell, man. [Unintelligble] but you, what is your dreams? What are your dreams, my friends? Then practice. Then practice, f—— hell.”

“Imagine meeting ur hero and he tells you sort ur life out u f—— bum hahahahahaha,” one viral response to the video said.
“The ex chef being called a bum is the funniest,” said another popular reply.
“Cameo but it is Pep Guardiola joining your Monday morning Teams call to tell you all to get a proper job,” a third joked.
Guardiola’s famously intense personality is perhaps even more frayed this year as Manchester City currently sit sixth in the Premier League, 12 points behind first-place Liverpool, after winning four consecutive Premier League titles and six of the last seven.
