Brasilian soccer referee Camilo Eustáquio de Souza was punched in the face by an irate player and he then proceeded to pull a gun on the athlete. The incident broke out after the soccer player felt the ref has wrongly made a call against him.
After being punched in the face by soccer player Marcos Lopes Vieira the referee went to his gym bag to retrieve his handgun, and he was caught on camera. Everyone around the ref gave him as much space as possible, realizing that the mad man was actually pulling a fucking gun out in the middle of a soccer game. The sale of beer is prohibited at most Soccer games in Brazil and after seeing this video I now understand why.
Freaking out on a ref for making a garbage call? I can sympathize with this because I was the first person in the state of Florida to get banned from H.S. sports for 6 weeks. It happened after I blew up on a soccer ref for a completely bullshit call, an altercation that ended with me getting a Red Card and getting banned from school sports for 6 weeks because of some new rule in Florida that I just so happened to be the first person to break. And when I say ‘completely bullshit’ I mean that our fucking team captain came up to me weeks later and apologized, saying it was he who committed the foul and the ref had just confused our faces. I was actually on the other side of the field when it all went down.
Unsurprisingly, this wasn’t the first time in the past few years that Brazilian soccer referee has pulled a gun on a player mid-game. It happened back in September 2015 as well. (h/t Andrew Joseph / For The Win)
