As a guy who has been dude-ing for about 15 to 20 years now, I’ve found in my travels across BroLand and the United States of the Fellas, there is truly no higher concentration of Guys Being Dudes energy than at the beer garden of an international sporting event, soccer in particular.
Case in point: these England bros over in Frankfurt, Germany, achieving maximum Guys Being Dudedom by balancing a pint of beer on the bald dome of their drunkenly sleeping compatriot.
At some point before, during, or after England’s Euro 2024 group stage match against Denmark on Thursday — Harry Kane’s opener was canceled out by a stunning long-range strike from Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand — “bevvied up” (that’s what they call it on their side of the pond) found a man so drunk and asleep that they were able to balance a pint of beer on his head.
Every few moments, someone would then walk over to the man and — to the sound of hundreds yelling “OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH” — pour more beer in the cup, until it finally toppled over.
The funniest part of the video by far, however, is the fact that after every round of beer-pouring, a song of “He’s Got A Pint Glass On His Head” to the tune of “He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands.”

England now have four points after their draw against Denmark and 1-0 over Serbia, which is enough to see them through to the next round. In order to win their group, however, the Three Lions will likely have to beat Slovenia on Tuesday, as second-place Denmark, who currently have 2 points, will be favored to beat Serbia and finish on 5 points, with a potentially better goal difference.
Despite virtually advancing to Round of 16, however, England has done anything but inspire confidence in their fans, with many questions the lineup and tactical decisions made by manager Gareth Southgate.
